Latest photo of the kittens taken this evening, they all huddle in the cat box for safety, two of them are getting quite bold though and actually venture out when we are in the room, and are ok to be smoothed whilst eating. Although they vary in sise they are all siblings.

This is a pic of the kittys this evening, looking a bit scared but wanting some food - again! There are actually 4, but these two are more bold.

This is one of the kittens, the biggest, long haired tabby, who was tempted out by a slice of ham, and lets me stroke her head and back now.

DAY 3

Progress - slowly but surely.....

Well, kitty's are certainly hungry - eating everything with great gusto!

I was a little late putting breakfast out today - cleaned the cage and tray then added their food, left the cage door slightly open, and the big tabby fluffy girl leaped onto the food - since she was so hungry she did not really bask away as I gently stroked her back and head. She tensed up a little but that was all.

she was closely followed by little black boy - he looked scared but let me briefly touch his head before backing away, so I left them in peace to eat.

The best way to overcome their fear and trepidation is to do this at every mealtime, they get used to it fairly quickly. The other two tabby girls as yet have not ventured out much whilst I am near.

On a plus note, toys have been played with, and little black boy is taking to sitting on a towel on top of their box - and not scarpering as I approach - bonus!
